Exposing Identity Thieves Who Extend Native Peoples Genocide
Beginning in the 1990’s, with the availability of public resources for becoming available for “Indigenous causes,” such as cultural programming, there was a clamor to get money for Gabrieleño families. Unfortunately, the state of CA had no protocols for vetting whether persons applying for such monies were who they were claiming to be and precedent had been set by the CA Judgement Rolls.
This problem continues to this day. Furthermore the creation of false narratives about fake tribes such as “Tongva” or “Kizh-Gabrieleno” began to be promoted by both some greedy Gabrielenos and Chicanos alike to launch what is today a multimillion-dollar identity industry of theft and misappropriation of public and private funding sources.
To this date, none of these criminals or the persons within the settler colonial superstructure have been held accountable for how they are extending Native genocide.
Here we begin to share links to publicly-obtainable documents that prove that many of these brown-skinned, brown-eyed and brown-haired people are not who they claim to be. Their ancestral lineages may or many include indigenous peoples (in addition to Spaniard histories), but they do not have lineage to the local villages that were lumped together under the name “Gabrieleño” by the Spanish Franciscan colonizer mission system.
Don’t take our word for it. Examine the evidence for yourself and decide whether you will stand with truth or with lies.
